Fine dress shirts are laundered and hand-finished for a crisp, comfortable result. Collars, cuffs, buttons, and other high-wear details receive close attention before each shirt is returned ready to wear.
Fine Alterations, Repairs, and Reweaving
Parkway’s couture-quality seamstresses provide precise alterations and repairs for men’s and women’s garments, including formalwear and wedding gowns. Services also include reweaving and repairs for damaged seams, hems, buttons, and select areas of fabric damage.
Wedding Gown Cleaning, Preservation, and Alterations

How long does dry cleaning take at Parkway?
Turnaround time depends on the garment, fabric, stain treatment, and service requested. Parkway will provide an estimated completion time after reviewing your items, particularly when alterations, restoration, or specialty care is required.
Does Parkway offer same-day service?
Same-day service is not guaranteed and may not be appropriate for garments requiring detailed stain treatment or specialty care. Call 301-281-6589 before visiting to ask whether an urgent request can be accommodated.
Do you provide pickup and delivery throughout the Washington, DC area?
Yes. Parkway serves eligible homes and businesses throughout much of the Washington metropolitan area. Contact the team or check the delivery zone to confirm service for your address.
Is there a minimum order for pickup and delivery?
A $20 minimum applies to cleaning orders, while alterations-only orders require a $50 minimum. Orders below these amounts may be adjusted to the applicable minimum, and a delivery fee may apply. A $20 return fee may be charged when no work is completed.
What specialty items can Parkway clean?
Parkway cares for wedding gowns, formalwear, leather, suede, fur, handbags, shoes, rugs, draperies, upholstery, bedding, table linens, outdoor cushions, and other specialty textiles. Seasonal storage and textile restoration services are also available.
Can I bring my garments directly to the store?
Yes. Parkway is located at 5455 Randolph Rd. in North Bethesda, between Nebel Street and Parklawn Drive. Free on-site parking is available for customers.
