A good seamstress is hard to find. We are very proud of our seamstresses and our alteration department. Xenia and Marina do simple repairs, complicated re-styling and couture quality fittings for clothing and wedding gowns. Like our drycleaning, most repairs are done by hand. As usual, handwork is time consuming and expensive, but it is often the proper way.

If you would like to make an appointment for a wedding gown fitting our seamstress is available Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Repairs and alterations for other garments do not require appointments, simply arrive during the hours listed above and we will do the rest!

Regarding Minor Repairs
If the finished garment we deliver to you is missing a button or a hem is open, it is not "ready to wear". For this reason all minor repairs that are noticed after cleaning are done with our compliments.

If the repair is more complicated, we try to call the customer. If the customer cannot be reached or the order is due for delivery, it is sometimes necessary for us to make the proper decision and make sure that the garment is ready to wear. It is most helpful if you include a second phone number when possible.

In the case of minor repairs that are notice that are less than $25.00 to fix, please let us know to add a repair limit of any amount to your account. A repair limit gives us your pre-approval for repairs that are less than that amount to be automatically taken care of. This repair limit helps Parkway provide you with the best service and saves on phone calls back and forth.
